Dear all, following up on our telecon last month I iterated an executive statement on the proposal for a further extension of HESS. Please take a look and comment. HESS-WG convener meeting: Next collaboration mtg and HESS extension

Dear conveners, as mentioned in ap-, it- and ops- calls, we plan to prepare the case for a further extension of HESS into 2025. This case is not meant to be an enormous amount of work to generate a heavy document. It is rather an opportunity for all members of the collaboration to propose changes to our strategy for running HESS, such as, e.g., new science approaches, new procedures and ways of calibrating data to get better results. We aim for making improvements based on our experience and shape the observing program such that we will cover the most attractive science questions. I would like to encourage you once more to entertain discussions in forthcoming meetings of your working groups. We would like to arrange a <1h meeting among all conveners in the next week to discuss any suggestions that you might want to put forward and how to best collect further input. As a second topic we want to discuss the options for a collaboration meeting in the next few months. ICRC 2021 abstracts

Dear All, as discussed at today's AP-call I added to each proposed ICRC-abstract in the table on https://hess-confluence.desy.de/confluence/display/HESS/ICRC+2021 the convener of the corresponding WG as abstract and proceedings reviewer. Please screen the corresponding abstracts, and approve (you could just add an "approved"-stamp below the abstract) if you find the contribution to fulfill the criteria as we have discussed. All contributions proposed for ICRC2021, but already presented at ICRC 2019 to my knowledge, are earmarked with red in the "ICRC2019?" column, and need corresponding "attention" as we have discussed today. I also added a deadline for placing abstracts proposed for presentation at the ICRC2021 to our internal ICRC2021 confluence page: 9 Feb (next Tuesday). Hope it's not too restrictive (please let me know in this case) and at the same time gives you sufficient time for screening and getting back to the presenters if needed.
