[Hess-ap] Legacy program

Dear all, in order to clarify the status of the 'legacy program' I would like to sum up the status reported on in our last AP meeting. - setting up a legacy program has not yet been decided or approved. - the suggestion to start a legacy program will be proposed to the CB. - The CB will take a decision. - The proposal has been announced to the SC for information. - in case we move ahead with this proposal, we should define the legacy program early and hence want to use this meeting for discussion. - in case the CB would prefer to continue with the current procedure, the consideration towards a legacy proposal will still help to define our priorities. - The CB will meet on the day before our discussion session and we shall hence know its opinion when we start the session on the HESS legacy. - I attach the draft of the proposal to the CB for your information. An updated version of this will be shown as introduction to the discussion session on 'HESS Legacy' (reflecting the opinions of the CB). Best regards, Stefan
