[Hess-ap] HESS-WG convener meeting: Next collaboration mtg and HESS extension

Dear conveners, as mentioned in ap-, it- and ops- calls, we plan to prepare the case for a further extension of HESS into 2025. This case is not meant to be an enormous amount of work to generate a heavy document. It is rather an opportunity for all members of the collaboration to propose changes to our strategy for running HESS, such as, e.g., new science approaches, new procedures and ways of calibrating data to get better results. We aim for making improvements based on our experience and shape the observing program such that we will cover the most attractive science questions. I would like to encourage you once more to entertain discussions in forthcoming meetings of your working groups. We would like to arrange a <1h meeting among all conveners in the next week to discuss any suggestions that you might want to put forward and how to best collect further input. As a second topic we want to discuss the options for a collaboration meeting in the next few months.
