Dear All,
let's meet via vibe tomorrow (24 March 2020) 2pm.
Meeting ID: 1937599796
Passwd: 0116
Unfortunately, it looks like there is no date this week that fits really
everybody. Therefore I added 2 tables to our agenda confluence page
where I'd like to ask everybody to fill in the talks from your's AWG
side by the end of today. I will then attempt to make a first draft AP
Program from which we can start iterating during our vibe meeting
tomorrow. This way hopefully the interest of all AWG convener can be
taken into account to some extent even if he/she can not be present at
the vibe meeting.
For the tables:
"Walk-Through" (WT) talks present projects that are sufficiently
advanced, A&R review successfully done, all final results,
interpretation etc ready. It represents the stage where, following our
new publication guidelines, the project results shall be presented to
the entire collaboration (e.g., at collaboration meetings).
Session talks for informing the collaboration what's going on on the
specific topic within AP, significant progress and results. The "topics"
could serve as session (sub-)titles, envelope of possibly several talks
(not necessarily from the same AWG).
[I didn't receive any (new) suggestions for topics from your side, so I
suppose the topics that we had identified for the in-person
collaboration meeting would suit you also for the tele AP Program. Is
that correct? ]
In general all talks should not be longer than 15'...20'+discussion, and
rather have an informing (the collaboration) character. If we fill one
full session with WT talks then, assuming each session to be no longer
than ~2 hrs, no more than 6-(max 7) session talks could be scheduled per
session.
Hope this all helps towards a focused and quick meeting tomorrow.
All the best,
Anita

Dear All,
hope you're all doing (reasonably) well.
As indicated already last week we should have a vibe meeting sometime
next week to (mainly) prepare setting up the tele collaboration meeting
AP Program. Please indicate your availability for this vibe meeting at:
https://framadate.uibk.ac.at/studs.php?sondage=vh9ssx7ld8z32ujg
by 22 March at the latest.
The agenda for this vibe meeting can be found at:
https://hess-confluence.desy.de/confluence/display/HESS/Vibe+meeting+2020-0…
In preparation for this vibe meeting I'd like to collect the topics (pls
just edit them into the agenda on confluence) you envision for the tele
AP Program, and also the (at least number of) walk-through (WT) talks
from your AWG. Please be reminded that this tele AP Program should be
not longer than 3 sessions (with ~2hrs/session), and we probably need
one session's time for the WT talks. The aim of this AP Program should
be (to my understanding) rather focused on informing the collaboration
what's going on astrophysics-wise within HESS. Talks should ideally be
not longer than 15'-20'.
If time permits, it would be also good to continue with the MWL Board
setup discussions. The MWL Board should ideally cover all wavebands, and
accordingly should contain members that would be able to cover them. We
have lots of expertise already within HESS-AP but still not all is
covered. It would be helpful if you could propose colleagues (from HESS)
for each waveband who would be able to cover what's missing.
All the best,
Anita
