Dear working group conveners,
In September I formally start as chair of the astrophysics working group. In order to get back to work I would like to have the kick off meeting this Friday, Sept
2, 9:30 till ~11:00.
The reason to get going is that we need to discuss quite some issues in time:
- -We need to setup the coming collaboration meeting.
- - The current WG structure and leadership was set up for the first extension. So it is time to evaluate this. Do
we want to redistribute certain subtopics differently between groups,
- create new groups or merge existing groups, which topics are relevant for forthcoming HESS science and are not properly covered by an existing group?
- - Also the current term for the OC is ending and it would be good to discuss its composition
The Agenda for the AP meeting will be:
- -Welcome
- -Short announcements/news
- -The upcoming collaboration meeting
- -Discussion on WG structure/convenership
- -Discussion on the OC composition
- -AOB
- -Closing
