Dear all,
thanks very much for attending. It was excellent that so many of you could
attend (at least part time) on such short notice.
Attached the slides I showed today. On pages 4,5, 6 I highlight a few
items in colours. On any of the red-coloured items please discuss them in
group meetings. For the green-coloured ones I ask for your
help/comment/action.
Nothing is secret, and you are free to get input on the green-coloured
parts from your groups as well.
As we lost a few in the last 8 mins of the mtg:
Irrespective of the next steps on collaboration organisation I suggest to
meet in ~2-3 weeks time again. There will be more lead time. Given than so
many of you could attend, we might try another Friday around the same
time.
A tentative agenda will be:
downselected proposals 2022, collaboration meeting, and your feedback on
the items raised today (incl. discussion).

Dear all,
following up on our last meeting, I had hoped for a while that we would
have progress regarding the HESS governance for the extension phase. This
appears to take more time than assumed. While this continues to affect the
process of identifying a successor to Anita as head of the astrophysics
dept., I would like to limit potential collateral damage to our program
and suggest to have a brief interim meeting.
While this is very short notice, I suggest to follow the 'friday morning
slot' of the astrophysics department for a mtg. _tomorrow_ in case we can
meet with at least half of the department. >
